Who we are
Smart Grocer is a US beta mobile app. This website collects a waitlist so we can invite testers. Questions: hello@smartgrocerapp.com.
What we collect on this site
When you request beta access, we store:
- Email (required)
- First name (required)
- Last name, if you share it
- 5-digit US zip (required)
- Where you usually shop, if you share it
- How often you shop, how many stores you typically visit, typical list size, and a monthly grocery spend range
- What you would like the app to help with, if you share it
- The date you joined, and a browser user-agent string
We do not ask for payment, an Apple ID, a full grocery list, or a password on this page.
How we use it
We use this to invite you to the Smart Grocer beta and to understand how testers shop. Your name and zip help us invite the right testers and understand local store coverage. Store preferences are optional and are not a promise that a particular store is supported. Shopping habit answers help us prioritize features for the beta.
After you join, we send a confirmation email from Smart Grocer <hello@smartgrocerapp.com>. We do not sell this list.
Who we share with
We share waitlist information only with the services that run this site, and only to operate the waitlist:
- Cloudflare hosts the site
- Supabase stores waitlist rows
- Resend sends the confirmation email
We do not sell this list or share it for advertising.
Where it lives
Waitlist rows are stored in our database so we can export testers. Access is limited to operating the beta. We do not publish the list.
How long we keep it
We keep waitlist records while the beta is active, then delete or archive them when they are no longer needed to invite testers.
Children
This waitlist site is not directed at children under 13. Do not submit a request for a child.
Your choices
Email hello@smartgrocerapp.com to access, correct, or delete your waitlist details, or to ask us to remove you from the waitlist.

The public site is https://beta.smartgrocerapp.com. This notice covers the waitlist form on that site. The mobile app, if you later receive access, may have its own notice.
